After coming home from teaching a weekend workshop, I received a few surprises... First, Chloe and Chris had a birthday cake and a present (a charm bracelet with two hearts, one for each of my daughters) waiting for me. Chloe wrapped the gift herself and made the card. There's nothing better. Second, I learned that Mer took a few pictures of Gabrielle while she was in the orphanage picking up her gorgeous daughter, Lulu. We love all these new pictures, and they leave us counting the minutes until we receive travel approval. It should be on its way soon.

Have a Happy Birthday, Heidi. I hope your are on your way to pick up Gabrielle on that day. I read your blog on Chloe everyday when you went to get her, and feel like I know her from her earliest days. What a blessing. I will be anxious to check the blog everyday and get to know little Gabrielle as well. Just know your mom's friends in Hawarden are praying for a safe trip and a precious sister for Chloe.
